Yu Guo | 郭语

I am an M.S. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCLA, currently interning at UCLA AIVC Lab. My current project is co-advised by Prof. Chenfanfu Jiang and Prof. Richard Wesel, and focuses on robot learning, embodied AI, and multimodal representation learning.

Before moving into embodied AI, I worked on probabilistic modeling and communication systems, including routing for LEO satellite networks and neural signal decoding. These experiences shaped my interest in building learning systems that remain robust under uncertainty and complex dynamics.

I am broadly interested in building robust learning systems that connect perception, structured representations, and decision-making in the physical world. I am actively looking for research internships and industry R&D opportunities starting in Summer 2026.

Outside research, I especially enjoy playing football, and my home team is Fourier Transform at UESTC. I have also played the piano since kindergarten, and I play Gekko when I don't know what to play in VALORANT.
